I want to be lighter all over! What option should I book?  Color cannot lift color, so if there is ANY preexisting color (artificial color, not natural color growing out of your head) on the hair it must be lifted with lightener to achieve lighter shades. Hair generally grows about 1/2" per month. So if you had color put on your hair 2 years ago and have over 12" of hair on your head, you still have artificial color molecules inside the hair strand from that color 2 years ago.This should be booked as a color correction, unless you plan on cutting off that length that has been previously colored. Even if we end up doing a different service like a Balayage, by choosing this service, we ensure that we have enough allotted time scheduled.
